What makes them tick? Are there common threads? What are their stories?

I want to know.

My credentials:

Academically- I have a masters degree in human resources, including all those statistics and research classes. Last spring I was accepted into a PhD program at Saybrook University; unfortunately, I had to drop out when the universe decided it was a good time for me to move to a new city and take a new job and buy a new condo and get involved in a new community. All of that made the PhD simply too much.

I am also a certified practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator®. The granddaddy of all psychological tests. I have administered the test and counseled over 600 people to date.

Spiritually- I have been near or in the light worker community since the mid 60s. Two years ago I became a Reiki master. I have written a book on visualizations. While I don't read for other people, I do consider myself an energy worker.

Why a survey? Why research?

I was directed to a thesis tying together my two major interests: Reiki and MBTI®. Is there a correlation between types and energy workers? Perhaps between MBTI® and different types of energy workers? At the same time, I started thinking about the stories of the energy workers themselves. When did they realize that they were tuned into something most didn't see? How has that affected their lives?

While I am interested in those energy workers who have gone out into the world to share their gifts in the way of healings or readings, I am also interested in those who go about their daily life, perhaps one foot and 4 toes in the "real" world and a toe dipped into the universal energy. What are their stories? How does their knowledge of and relationship to "energy" make a difference in their life and in those around them?

What's involved?

I will send you a survey wiht questions about your experiences working with energy. I will also send a copy of the MBTI®. For your time, I will send you a summary of my findings. If you live near the Sacramento area, I will offer you an hour of consulting re your MBTI® responses.
